Vesuvius
Vesuvius is an ancient, active volcano that, with its eruptions, has formed the entire current phlegrean area and the Gulf of Naples with its particular shape and its volcanic islands.
The Vesuvius National Park contains a series of routes for hikers of various levels, up to the guided hike to the crater, at a height of 1,232 metres.
On the slopes of Vesuvius, there are several vineyards where local wines are produced, born from the particular fertility of this volcanic land, including the famous Lacryma Christi. You can taste white, red or rosé wine or eat right in these cellars. Potrai degustare il vino bianco, rosso o rosè o mangiare direttamente in queste cantine.
